Metallica - Fade To Black (1988.07.03) Dallas, TX, USA - Monster of Rock

I was there you all. Awesome experience. This concert started from 10 am and finished until 1100 pm. This was Monster of Rock 1988 in Cotton Bowl, Dallas Texas. It was headlined by Van Halen. Metallica was part of the bands performed in addition to Kingdom Come, Scorpion, Dokken and Van Halen. At this time Metallica had just released their best album (at least for me) Justice For All. One interesting fact was that Metallica fans just did not give a shit about other acts during the festival. They just "metal up their ass".

This experience can't be bought with money. Just wicked. Lucky me.

Regards.

Kingdom Come with Robert Plant type vocal, Scorpion with stylo mylo Rudolf Shencker, Dokken with George Lynch, Van Halen with the best ever Eddie Van Halen and of course Metallica with Justice album. yeah you are right justice is the ultimate music accomplishment for Metallica. the song ONE was nominated for Grammy as well. Love the album.

I was there too. No. The lines up went Kingdom Come, Scorpions, Dokken, Metallica, Van Halen. The show rocked my ass! And yes, it was stolen by Metallica, the show that is. Probably the best concert of my life. And Holy Shit, it was hot out there!
